From the very begining Jan’s early years were influenced by legendary artists, like Bryan Adams, Paul McCartney, Bon Jovi and The Beatles. Jan was born in Prague on 18th November 1977 and became known for his relentless pursuit of perfection. His unique interpretation of now classical songs by Queen, Paul McCartney, Bon Jovi and U2, has become well known to his audiences across the country. Singer and songwriter Jan was one of the ten finalists in prestigeous competitions „ Bohemia“ and „Zlin“ talent of 2001. Jan performes mostly with his own band „The Blackbirds“. His repertoire also includes many of his own songs. Recognizing his original interpretation of Queen songs, the band was given an opportunity to perform at the biggest after-party concert of Queen & Paul Rodgers. Known to Czech audience and to a fan club „Tornado Queen“, Jan could be seen performing in various TV shows. His own song "I Swear To You" was chosen by Czech television featuring young talents as well as various radio stations. As a singer, composer and an actor he participated in a musical play, creating main character Rake Marquee. The original songs that Jan has written for the play (exept that time quite known „I Swear to You), One more Chance to Give and Foolish Things“ became a centrepiece of the play‘s musical track.

Year 2006 started with recognition as a registered author of OSA (Protective Federation of Authors) and also marked the return to his own roots, playing for loyal audiences, including British Prime Minister, Czech President, ambassadors and influential visitors of Prague’s prestigious piano-bar Rhapsody.

He also performed in Germany, Slovakia and England .

In less than two years later, a new released single reflects return to artist’s roots, appropriately titled „Lost and Found“, announcing the upcoming album in summer 2008.
